Job Summary: As a part of our Plant family, you'll become an essential player in our metals processing and distribution work. This multifaceted role requires practical knowledge of our operations and materials. You'll be the driving force behind our success!

Job Functions:

• Embrace routine tasks with enthusiasm and precision.

• Dive into inventory movement, customer orders, material handling, and warehouse maintenance.

• Play your part in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.

• Assemble orders based on work/shipping orders or other instructions.

• Ensure material is tagged, documented, and stored accurately.

• Flex your forklift, side loader, or crane skills to move materials within the warehouse.

• Master the art of operating a yard truck for loading and unloading trailers.

• Keep your workspace tidy, safe, and orderly.

• Organize materials on racks, shelves, or in bins following predetermined sequences.

• Conduct spot checks on inventory and assist with tagging material as needed.

• Report any anomalies or issues to your supervisor.

• Keep materials in stock by restocking as required.

• Occasionally, take the wheel of a motor vehicle (non-DOT truck) for local deliveries and parts pickups.

• Champion safety and quality standards in every task.

• Embrace any other duties and responsibilities assigned by our supportive management team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Whether you're just starting or have up to 5 years of relevant experience, we value your potential and a mix of education and experience.

• A High School diploma/GED is a plus.

• Previous warehousing and material handling experience is welcomed.

• Showcase your manual dexterity, finger dexterity, and coordination skills.

• Easily understand and apply written and oral instructions.

• Tackle basic measurements, conversions, and math computations with confidence.

• Basic arithmetic skills to handle decimals and fractions.

• Embrace basic computer proficiency and software applications.

• Multitask like a pro, prioritize, and manage your time effectively.

• Make sound decisions drawing from knowledge, experience, and judgment.

• Flex those muscles—lift 100 pounds occasionally, 60 pounds repetitively.

• Be comfortable standing for extended periods.

• Handle up to 80 pounds of force when pushing or pulling.

• Confidently go up and down off truck trailers as needed.

• Be prepared for varying temperatures, from over 100 degrees F to below 32 degrees F.

• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
